After the careful reconstruction of an ancient church, San Donato was born. It is a splendid villa rental, Siena is located a short drive away, and you will be able to reach it at your leisure, although it will be hard to leave this pleasant heaven in Tuscany.

The structure of the church was left intact. The main nave has become an enormous hall, and its surrounding annexed rooms transformed into a kitchen, laundry room, and five lovely rooms with ensuite bathroom. The surrounding lands today make up the garden with the gazebo and barbecue, the swimming pool and the beautiful olive groves. Every room has heating and air conditioning.

San Donato has become a country villa near Siena with a great hall, bright and big enough to host all the guests around the dinner table, or in front of the fireplace during the cold days of winter, or even on the sofas for a moment of chit-chat and relaxation. The beamed ceiling has been entirely reconstructed and gives to the room a majestic but warm and welcoming feeling at the same time.

Behind the great hall, in the old sacristy, you will find a well-equipped kitchen, with every appliance you need, like a dishwasher, microwave, and many different dishes, pots and pans for the preparation of your preferred plates.
The rooms, all five with shower, heat/air conditioning and sat TV, are furnished with different colors. Each room has a “dolce” (sweet) name, coming directly from the Sienese pastry tradition.

An entire villa at your disposal, 220 square meters, isolated enough to enjoy complete privacy, but just five kilometers from Casciano di Murlo, the nearest village, where you will find all your basic necessities, like a supermarket, pharmacy, post office and bank. Many interesting tourist sights like Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, the Abbey of Saint Galgano, even the mountain and the sea, and many others, can all be found within fifty kilometers maximum (about 35 miles), and less than an hour drive away. Because of this perfect location, Villa San Donato is the perfect base for the exploration of our splendid Tuscany region.
You can take advantage of the big open spaces of the Villa, the pleasant hall, reading in the family room on the comfortable couches, the shaded garden with the park benches, the hammock, the gazebo, go for a swim or get a nice tan lounging on the beds at the swimming pool.
Rooms:
“Ricciarelli” room is furnished in the warm tones of yellow and orange. This is the brightest and largest room of the Villa, having both a double-bed and a sofa/single bed. The French doors open to the front of the Villa and lead directly to the garden from a small terrace, making this room even more practical and attractive.
“Panforte” is decorated in the happy tone of pink and has a beautiful view of the Tuscan hills and the surrounding woods.
The “Cavallucci” room is painted in blue tones, and faces the back of the Villa, allowing direct access to the olive trees and swimming pool. It being a bit smaller than the others and its particular exposure to light make this room pleasantly intimate.
“Copate” room, furnished in a delicate blue, has the largest bathroom including both a shower and a comfortable bathtub. Being on the lower floor also gives this room the advantage of a bit more silence and privacy. In this room is not available satellite TV.
“Cantucci” room painted in light yellow, only twin-bedroom in the Villa, concludes the description of our rooms. Upon request the 2 single beds can be put together and form a double-bed.
