Bed and Breakfast Villa Le Ginepraie is located within an ancient hunting reserve so while you relax by the pool it is possible to see hares, deer and pheasants pass by in the neighboring fields and a variety of birds such as hawks, woodpeckers, swallows and a pair of herons who live on the lake just a few meters from the villa.
In the evening you can enjoy a drink by the pool, watch the sun setting behind the hills and watch the fox come down to visit us, as he does every evening, or perhaps even sight an owl.
As the pool is lit up at night you can take a late night swim and admire a spectacular, rather rare starlit sky as the area is totally unpolluted.
The swimming pool of the villa is 6 m wide 12 m long and 2.20 m in depth, open from first of May
to end of October and is equipped with comfortable chaises, tables, chairs and
umbrellas. The chlorine and ph levels are constantly checked and the water is cleaned daily.
Villa Le Ginepraie is a 17th century farmhouse which has been carefully renovated to maintain its original features.
The Villa has two floors. The entrances to the rooms and apartments are from the veranda furnished with a long wooden table. On the ground floor there are 3 bedrooms, 2 with sat TV, 3 bathrooms, a spacious kitchen/dining room and a lounge with a fireplace and sat. TV. There is also a terrace with a long table seating 12 where you can enjoy a spectacular panoramic view of the surrounding countryside and watch the sun set.
An antique stone staircase on the veranda leads to the first floor which comprises 2 lounges with sat TV, 2 kitchens, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms.
There is a well-equipped laundry room with a washing machine, iron and ironing board.
In the garden, just in front of the veranda, there is the old stone oven where you can bake bread or pizza.
