Immersed in nature, full of simplicity, farm La Leggenda is the ideal place for those who are relishing the idea of taking a nice regenerative break away from daily routine in a Tuscany bed and breakfast. In the heart of twelve hectares of chestnut trees, about seven hundred meters away the Fiora River valley, and at a stone’s throw from Monte Amiata, here there is a natural and comfortable way to live a healthy and relaxing holiday.

“The Legend” has two recently renovated houses: The main house and guest house. Inside the latter we crated eight rooms each with private entrance, all composed of a bedroom with double bed, except for one with a single bed, and bathroom with shower.
Each room is furnished with sophistication and good taste, each is dedicated to one subject: Butterfly, Rose, Bee, Tulip, Ladybug, Sunflower, Lavender and Fruit. All rooms of this Tuscany bed and breakfast are equipped with heating. Moreover, each one has a large panoramic window over the valley. Sunsets from here are an experience to try while holding someone special!

Besides the bedrooms is another house, recently remodeled. It is Casa Gatti, an old stone house from 1860 with two spacious holiday apartments, preserving all the original local features like the terracotta floors, wood beamed ceilings, and stone fireplaces.

The restaurant is located on the ground floor of the house. It is open only to guests at dinner. The menu is renewed everyday with simple dishes that derive from the Tuscan tradition, partly prepared with products grown on our soil. Breakfast is also served here. The outdoor porch for al-fresco dinners is surrounded by chestnut trees and overlooks the valley all around our Tuscany bed and breakfast. Famous regional wines are always available to accompany your meal.

The swimming pool is the perfect relaxation spot, but you can also wander through the green path of our private forest, walking in the cool shade, and taste the wilderness and its porcini mushrooms.
La Leggenda in Selva, one of the most beautiful parts of Santa Fiora. It lies in the heart of the Amiata mountain at about seven hundred meters, in the middle of a landscape full of greenery and nature with many villages, churches and castles steeped in history and art.
The surroundings are worth visiting, like the medieval town of Santa, or Abbadia San Salvatore, Castel del Piano, Arcidosso, all reachable within fifteen to twenty minutes. In 40 minutes you are on the beach, in just as much at the hot sulfurous spas of Saturnia. Southward are the towns of Pitigliano, Sorano and Sovana, small masterpieces of Etruria. A little further north our Tuscany bed and breakfast are Sant’Antimo, Montalcino and Pienza, which you will be able to reach within one hour driving.
