The Tuscany apartments at Il Colle Rigomagno are located in the little known town of Rigomagno, a jewel of the Val di Chiana. The family Mariottini here undertook the restoration of their rooms that once belonged to an ancient church right in the historic heart of the village. They offer two apartments, both lovely and comfortable.

The names of the apartments are La Torre and Il Pozzo, both with a totally independent access.
Both offer great comforts maintaining intact their Tuscan feel and charm. The wooden-beam ceilings and the stone walls are those used to build the apartments centuries ago.

Il Pozzo
The entrance to the apartment is through a large garden from Via Primo Maggio. It is a ground floor apartment with a spacious living room. The brick fireplace is functioning and can be used for heating in winter time. The armchair becomes a comfortable single bed, for extra relax in front of the TV set. The fully equipped eat-in kitchen shares the space of the living room. The double bedroom with queen size bed is opposite the full bathroom with shower. Also available a pantry space. A very peaceful, silent and comfortable nest for two, with the armchair as child bedding.

La Torre
A larger Tuscan apartment for 4 people. It develops on two floors. The entrance is from via Umberto Primo through a flight of stairs to the first floor; the wide and sunny living room opens up immediately upon entering the apartment. Here is the fireplace and a double sofa bed. The space is ideally divided by a brick arch to enter the fully equipped eat-in kitchen. Besides the stairs to the upper floor is the full bathroom with shower. Here a reliquary niche testifies to the sacred origins of the building.
The second floor accommodates one double bedroom with queen size bed, a double twin bedroom, and a full bathroom with bathtub and shower handle. The double bedroom has a window with a view of the Regina Margherita square.

These Tuscany apartments are ideal for relaxing in what is by many considered one of the most charming places in Tuscany. Wonderful natural places are all around the town. The uncontaminated nature offers endless excursions and breathtaking landscapes. To top it off the nearby towns of Siena, Arezzo, Perugia and several gems of Val di Chiana and Val d’Orcia, as Cortona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Monticchiello, Montefollonico, Chiusi, Montalcino, Chianciano, and Rapolano Terme, are within one hour drive from the apartments.

Rigomagno still preserves its original structure of medieval village and unaltered city plan. You will be impressed by the view of the town, with its semicircular towers along the city walls, all amidts lush olive groves. While the new houses lay at the foot of the hill, this part has been left untouched. The surrounding olive groves and splendid woods are perfect for long hikes or daytrips to the discovery of castles and country parish churches. The Calcione Castle with its lake and the Gargonza Castle are just examples. At 5 kilometers is a riding school and a bike rental place, while a little further away are equipped sports facilities and a swimming pool. The Nobile wine road and the Thermal Baths of Rapolano are 15 minutes away. For shopping lovers, the Valdichiana Outlet Village is just 10 kilometers away.
