The castle rises on three levels and has all the living rooms and kitchen on the ground floor. The two upper floors are dedicated to the sleeping area. There are 7 bedrooms for 12 guests plus 2 extra beds. One room is a suite with a double bedroom, two sitting rooms and a private bathroom.

During your castle vacation, Tuscany can be explored departing from just outside the gate of the property. Here is a country road, marked on a special map by the province of Siena, on which you can walk or bike to reach untouched places where time has stopped and still makes you appreciate old barns, hills and villages far away. It is a continuous landscape of mountains and of course the famous Tuscan cypresses, painted since centuries ago by artists coming in this very special place.

However, while spending your castle vacation, Tuscany is very much enjoyed just staying at Villa La Collina. The property has a park of about 4.000 square meters (8 acres), and outside the kitchen there is a furnished garden with barbecue and fountain from where sunsets can be enjoyed in all their beauty.

The morning sun rises on the terrace, where you can have your breakfast with a view of Poggibonsi in the distance, which is the nearest town. On the top of the mountains Castellina in Chianti can be spotted with all its charm.
The swimming pool is located in a very panoramic, open area. It measures 15 x 7 meters, and is equipped with a hot/cold outdoor shower and a fridge/freezer in a little adjacent stone house.

While at the villa you’ll get in touch with the important history of these places; the towns all around provide a great resource. San Gimignano is just 15 minutes away. In addition, wine and food tasting at the new generation of producers respecting old Tuscan traditions is an excellent occasion to discover excellent extra virgin olive oil and wonderful wines.
