Agriturismo Olivetino

Olivetino is an agriturismo with Tuscany coast apartments located on a green hilly area in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma. The seaside is just half hour away. Olive groves, vineyards and the green Mediterranean shrub fill the surrounding countryside with colors. Every period of the year is especially beautiful in its own way thanks to the gorgeous landscape all around.

The apartments are large, comfortable and welcoming. They are located in the main body of the farm, which is independently accessible from the main road. Each apartment has a large living/dining room with wood burning fireplace. All these Tuscany coast apartments have the outdoors in common. Here you can enjoy a panoramic swimming pool, sun tanning terrace, a playground for your children, relax on the hammock and dine al-fresco thanks to the outdoor dining furniture and barbecue. Tall pine trees provide much shade, allowing to enjoy dining out even at lunch.

The house is just fifteen minutes away from the sea, and two kilometers from the town of Montiano. Tuscany coast apartments at Olivetino are the right place to have a relaxing holiday in the quiet of these beautiful and wild natural places. This is also a wine land, offering great occasions for day trips to the discovery of cellars and restaurants to appreciate the scents and tastes of the Maremma cuisine.

The nature reservation called Parco Naturale della Maremma is in close proximity for your nature excursions, while the thermal baths of Saturnia will make you feel like an Etruscan enjoying the rich gift of Tuscany’s hot springs. Etruscan ruins are located nearby, with Roselle as the main site to discover, while the Argentario showcases one of the wildest and most beautiful coastal areas facing crystal clear waters and the marvelous islands of Giglio and Giannutri.

Olivetino does not only mean Tuscany coast apartments. This is a real farm house in Tuscany doing farm work. 26 hectares of land include hillsides and flat lands growing cereals, vineyards, and olive trees. The terroir is excellent for wine and olive oil, therefore the production at Olivetino, which you can buy, is especially good. Needless to say the most renown wine type produced in Maemma is Morellino di Scansano, also produced at Olivetino.

A portion of the estate is dedicated to woodlands. Here you will be able to have long walks in any season, enjoying the presence of splendid secular trees and little wood animals, such as foxes, porcupines, hedgehogs, hares, deers and birds such as bee-eaters, hawks, jays and turtledoves.

Bikes are provided on site, while other sports and activities can be practiced in the vicinities; golfing, horseback riding and fishing are all located nearby. The islands of Giglio and Giannutri are connected through ferries that depart near these Tuscany coast apartments.
